You may have heard of SHIFT World Sparks from Free RPG Day at your local game store. But what are SHIFT World Sparks, and how can you use them as a GM? Keep reading to find out!

What is SHIFT RPG?

SHIFT RPG is an upcoming indie tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) from Canadian game publisher Hit Point Press. It is played with a set of five polyhedral dice (d4 through d12) and helps you tell a story with your friends in any setting imaginable. The game takes its name from the central mechanic of shifting dice. 

What is a SHIFT World Spark?

A SHIFT World Spark is a bite-sized microsetting that offers rules, plot hooks, NPCs, player options, adversaries, and more for you to use when running SHIFT RPG. They provide actionable material without overwhelming you with dense lore or mechanics. SHIFT World Sparks are so called because they’re designed to spark your imagination, so you can make the setting your own.

What SHIFT World Sparks are available?

There are already two SHIFT World Sparks to explore, Dorado Station and Maelstrom, with more to come!
