Great story, missing the advertised DM support

"The story was intriguing and I typically like physical books when I run a campaign. I wrongly assumed if I purchased the hardback I would get the pdf to download too as there was no Physical & PDF option, nope. I then purchase the PDF as I wrongly assumed the pdf would have full version maps and VTT support as it said it was fully linked with alchemy (so the visuals are made). WRONG. I've now spent $60+ dollar on this campaign and I go to download the stuff off alchemy AND THEY WANT ME TO PAY ANOTHER $30 for the pdf AGAIN to gain access to the maps and audio. This is just wrong. I won't pay it. Nothing on your descriptions say that the alchemy stuff is behind a paywall and you will not be getting a code if you purchase directly from HitPointPress. No one should purchase the game here and only purchase it on alchemy if you are running a VTT game."

Some promise but falls far short.

"While there are interesting elements of storyline, it is quite rudimentary, and I am hugely disappointed by a number of facets. The overwhelming lack of quality in maps, and neglect to provide useable versions in the pdf as they are half or 1/3rd page types instead of supplimental fullpage versions. This is disappointing for an in table game, and debilitating for online. There are also a number of plot relevant new monsters with no artwork or descriptions at all, but oddly a number of times they'll provide multiple versions of art that's not useful or relevant in any way. They both fall short of standard quality and add a great deal of work to the DM. All in all in many ways it falls far short of any other purchase I've made for 3rd party content in thought and effort put in."

Interesting story, misled by shoddy maps

"This might be a much higher review were the maps halfway useful. Many of them are 1/3rd page pdf maps leaving them low quality and barely able to get the point across. The battlemaps are slightly larger but lacking detail and not scaled well. There are no seperate full page map images which is to be expected at half the price. This is incredibly shoddy given the work that went into art and what was presented, leaves it near unforgiveable. I'm starting the adventure this week, the story seems somewhat better but this is a huge letdown to DM's for the pricetag. Unless you are Theater of the Mind reliant at your table or VTT, or get shoehorned into purchasing their Alchemist VTT ALSO, I'm incredibly disappointed."
