Hit Point Press wins multiple awards, receives 5 ENNIE nominations
2026 has been a great year for awards so far! Floral Dragons leads the awards charge with four wins, and seven nominations. The Fablemaker’s Deck of Many Things also received an award. Keep reading to learn the details, and to vote for us in the ENNIE Awards!
ENNIE Awards

The ENNIE Awards announced their 2026 nominations and Hit Point Press is up for consideration in 5 categories! If you’re not familiar, the ENNIE Awards are the biggest awards in tabletop. They recognize the best writing, game design, and production values across the TTRPG industry.

National Indie Excellence Awards

The Fablemaker’s Deck of Many Things Holo-Foil Box Set took home the Best Gift Book award for its quality writing, gorgeous art, and stunning presentation. The Fablemaker’s Deck of Many Things is an oracle deck based on the legendary 5e magic item. The deck is illustrated by Yoshi Yoshitani with monochrome and full-color versions of the cards. It comes with a guidebook with questions to guide your intuition, and new rules for 5e players.
The Field Guide to Floral Dragons was awarded Best Reference Book for its detailed lore, clear mechanics, and beautiful illustrations. The Field Guide to Floral Dragons blends the fascinating world of flowers with dragons and a dash of magic to create a fabulously floral draconomicon. The art and concept were created by Kin Wald.
For two decades, the National Indie Excellence Awards has served as a highly respected honor in independent publishing, celebrating exceptional books from self-published authors, small to mid-sized presses, and university presses across all genres.
Independent Publisher Awards (IPPY)

The Field Guide to Floral Dragons received the prestigious Outstanding Book of the Year Award. This award recognizes the best titles from among all entries.
The IPPY Awards spotlight on the exceptional work being done by independent, university, and self-published authors. The awards celebrate the courage, innovation, and creativity that drive change in the publishing industry. Their judging process takes into account the independent spirit and unique challenges faced by publishers of all sizes and budgets.
Canada Roles Awards

The Field Guide to Floral Dragons won Best Scenario or Supplement Design at the inaugural Canada Roles Awards. The book includes 25+ stat blocks for dragons imbued with the essence of flowers, and a detailed corruption system that can inflect other creatures.
