From Tokens to Dragons: Celebrating 10 Years of Adventures

From Tokens to Dragons: Celebrating 10 Years of Adventures

&Hit Point Press has been making games and gaming accessories for a whole decade! A lot has happened in that time, and we are thrilled to celebrate this milestone with you.

Hit Point Press began back in March 2015 as Cardamajigs.com because, as players, we wanted to express ourselves beyond sleeves, deckboxes and playmats. This led us to designing and selling tokens for Magic: the Gathering as a way for people to further customize their decks.

Since then we have strived to make products that we haven’t seen before. Accessories that we want to game with. Games that reflect who we are and tell our stories. This has led us to expand into a variety of product lines including gaming card frames, animated spell cards, and RPG campaign settings. We thrive most when building exciting things to help us play the games we love.

Ten years of milestones:

  • Published 9 RPG books including Humblewood, Big Bads, Heckna and Fool’s Gold
  • Released over 30 decks of reference cards
  • Awarded 17 grants to independent tabletop roleplaying game creators
  • Won multiple gaming industry awards, including Ennies, Origins Awards, IGDN, and IPPY Awards
  • Collaborated with hundreds of amazing artists, writers, and editors
  • Published independent creator games (The Griffon’s Saddlebag, Islands of Sina Una, and If I Were a Lich, Man)
  • Launched the Humblewood Campaign Setting and Humblewood Tales on D&D Beyond

In 2024, HPP successfully funded our Kickstarter for The Field Guide to Floral Dragons and celebrated our first foray into board games with One Last Fight.

This year we look forward to upcoming Kickstarter campaigns for Humblewood: Beyond the Canopy, and SHIFT, our own RPG ruleset.

It has been a huge pleasure to share such a creative space with lots of amazing creators, and get to know players who resonate with our games.

Here’s to the next 10 years!
