Villains fight back on the cover of BIG BADS: Most Wanted
Hit Point Press has revealed the cover for its upcoming Kickstarter 5e bestiary BIG BADS: Most Wanted, illustrated by Josiah Cameron. A long-time collaborator with Hit Point Press, Cameron’s art has also been featured in Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons products. The deluxe cover art was also revealed, designed by Griffon Nichols.
In the dramatic cover scene, several Big Bads wreck the office of the Big Bad Bureau, the agency created to stop their dastardly plans. The cover art features Big Bads Yku, Jamilah, Emmeline & Alkinimic Rex, plus a fiery Ashrat.
Brian Scott Walters, art director at Hit Point Press, said that the cover introduces the many new Big Bads, with an emphasis on chaos.
“We wanted to cram in as much mayhem and shenanigans into the one image to show the players they can take the fight back to the bureau,” Walters said. “Josiah put so much detail into the big bads plotting together on the cover of the first book, and I’m so excited to share the dastardly fun time we’re having with the new one.”
A sequel to the original Big Book of Big Bads, BIG BADS: Most Wanted offers players the chance to join the big bads’ rival organization, G.E.I.S.T (Grand Evil Inciting Supervillainous Threats). The book is compatible with 5e and collects issues 26–50 of the original Big Bads zine series. Players can also look forward to six brand-new bosses, a guide on how to be a villain, and top secret information about G.E.I.S.T.
