Ambush Prey

Available to rangers, this 2nd-level spell grants invisibility for 1 hour and an extra 1d6 damage to the first attack you make against a creature that is unaware of you. Characters can enjoy lying in wait for their target, and if cast at higher levels, the damage increases by 1d6 for each level.
Gust Barrier

Available to bards, druids, sorcerers, and wizards, this cantrip allows you to defend against attackers. Until the end of your next turn, all ranged attacks made against you have disadvantage. As for melee attacks? Attackers who hit you must succeed on a Constitutions save or get flung 10 feet away from you.
Invoke the Amaranthine

Available to clerics and paladins, this 3rd-level spell allows them to call upon an Amaranthine, one of the deities in Humblewood, to stockpile a couple of rolls for later. When you cast this spell, you roll two d20s and choose ability check, attack roll, saving throw for each roll. Within the next 24 hours, you can substitute a roll of your chosen type with the result you got earlier. This spell can be used to improve your party’s rolls, or nullify an enemy’s devastating ones.
Spiny Shield

Available to druids, rangers, sorcerers, and wizards, this 1st-level spell is a defensive buff with a twist. You cast it as a reaction to being hit with an attack and you create a spiky barrier between you and the attacker. You reduce the damage you take by 2d4 and they take the same amount of damage instead. It’s a great way to bite back!
