Hexbound is designed to be as easy to use as possible for both players and game masters. All the content in the book, from witch subclasses to witchy adventures, can be used as an addition to your existing campaign or as the bedrock for a completely new witch-themed adventure!
The book offers content for both players and GMs alike, with new witch subclasses, spells, familiars, and backgrounds as well as ready-to-run, fully illustrated adventures, magical items, new creatures, and more!
Instead of adding a new class, Hexbound uses the familiar and beloved framework of the traditional 5e classes to allow you to make incredibly diverse witches.
Thanks to Witch Subclasses, your character could be your traditional witch, slinging powerful spells or brewing magical potions to empower their friends and doom their enemies, or something completely different, like a melee fighter who punches spiritual energy into the bodies of their foes, or a spellcaster who uses the magic of spirits and the training of their witch mentor to empower their familiar to fight for them!
You have the opportunity to bring the iconic archetype of the witch and the magic of witchcraft to character creation, but that’s not where it ends. Along with Witch Subclasses, Hexbound comes with Familiars, Backgrounds, and extensive Witch Lore that allow you to integrate witches into 5th Edition and create deep, interesting backstories.
Hexbound includes an absurd amount of witch-themed magical items from potions, to wands, hats, shoes, and more! They are all lovingly illustrated and can be used in any adventure as rewards (or punishment) for your players.
The book's adventures are packed full of new creatures created for this book. All of their stat blocks are included for your convenience, and they can, of course, be used in any future adventures outside of those offered in Hexbound! These creatures range from aberrations, to constructs, to other witches with unique magical abilities.
A brand new set of familiar companions comes within the pages of Hexbound. They correspond to very different witchy aesthetics, and give any kind of player a companion that matches that specific witchy vibe.
